Better Communication. Stronger Connection.
Couples can get stuck in patterns that are difficult to change on their own. Therapy provides a structured space to slow those patterns down, understand what is happening between you, and practice healthier ways of responding to one another.
Couples therapy may be helpful when partners want support with communication, emotional connection, trust, recurring conflict, life transitions, intimacy concerns, or strengthening the relationship before problems become more entrenched.

Ohio Virtual Couples Therapy FAQs
Is this service virtual?
Yes. This landing page is for virtual couples therapy throughout Ohio.
Do we both have to be in Ohio?
Yes, telehealth services must follow clinician licensing requirements. Your therapist will confirm that the location of each participant is appropriate for the scheduled session. If your therapist is also licensed in another state you may be present there as well. Your therapist will give you specific guidance.
Do you accept insurance for couples therapy?
Yes, we do. We are in network with major commercial PPO plans such as United, Medical Mutual, Anthem, Aetna and Cigna. We also take several Ohio Medicaid MCO plans such as Anthem, United, Amerihealth, and Humana. Insurance may be accepted when the service is eligible under the member’s plan and the member chooses to use it. Benefits are not a guarantee of payment, and final coverage is determined by the insurance company. Patients are responsible for out of pocket costs such as deductibles, co-payments and co-insurance. Your insurance company can advise you what your out of pocket expenses may be.
What approaches do your couples therapists use?
Our clinicians may integrate evidence-based approaches including but not limited to: Discernment Counseling, the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Relational Life Therapy and Sex Therapy Interventions based on clinical fit and therapist training.
